Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology. The core responsibilities will include:
- Business Analysis & Requirements Management: Eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from various stakeholders across departments. Translating these requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Organizational Change Management: Leading and executing change management strategies to ensure the successful and smooth adoption of new systems and processes within the organization. This includes stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, communication planning, and training/awareness program implementation.
- MIS Development & Maintenance: Designing, developing, and enhancing analytical dashboards and reports through MIS systems to empower management with data-driven decision-making. Ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and relevance for different management levels.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for improvement in existing business processes using analytical methodologies. Proposing practical and technological solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.
- Project Management & Coordination: Working closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. Acting as a central liaison between technical and business units.
Qualifications & Essential Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on Change Management and Management Information Systems (MIS). Experience in a consulting environment or with technology solutions companies is a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Solid understanding of databases and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with project management concepts (PMP or CBAP certification is a plus).
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and in a fast-paced environment.
