Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The appointed Drupal Developer will be responsible for a range of critical technical tasks, including:

• Developing, designing, installing, customizing, testing, and maintaining websites and web applications built on the Drupal Content Management System.
• Analyzing client or internal project requirements and translating them into effective, scalable technical solutions.
• Writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to software development best practices.
• Working on the integration of various Drupal modules and connecting platforms with external systems via APIs.
• Optimizing the performance, speed, and security of Drupal applications and sites.
• Collaborating closely with web designers, project managers, and other technical team members to ensure project delivery within deadlines and to the highest quality standards.
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing technical support when required.
• Staying updated with the latest Drupal releases and related technologies to ensure the use of the most modern and efficient solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience of at least 3 years in developing and customizing the Drupal platform (preferably Drupal 8, 9, or 10 versions).
• Strong proficiency in core programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Practical experience working with MySQL or MariaDB databases.
• Deep understanding of Drupal architecture, including Hooks, Entities, Services, and Routing.
• Experience using version control tools like Git.
• Good knowledge of UI/UX design principles and the ability to work with design systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English for written and verbal communication (Arabic language skills are a plus).
