Job Description

Aster DM Healthcare, one of the leading integrated healthcare groups in the Gulf region, is seeking a highly experienced Senior MEP Manager to join their team at the headquarters in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete oversight of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across the group's healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and medical centers. Key responsibilities include managing engineering teams, overseeing new project execution, maintaining existing systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive management of all MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) in healthcare facilities.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, main and backup electrical systems, plumbing and drainage systems, and fire protection systems.
• Manage teams of engineers and technicians, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with project and operations departments to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all MEP systems.
• Review and approve engineering designs and technical specifications for new projects.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management on system and project status.
• Manage MEP budgets and drive energy conservation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP management, with at least 5 years in a similar managerial role. Previous experience in the healthcare sector is highly preferred.
• Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, CEM, or LEED AP are a strong advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and project management tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership abilities, strong problem-solving skills, effective communication skills in both Arabic and English, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
