Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Site Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for the direct field supervision of construction activities, ensuring strict adherence to the highest standards of quality, safety, and project timelines. The core responsibilities associated with this position include:

• Daily Supervision: Directly oversee day-to-day construction site activities, ensuring work is executed in accordance with approved technical specifications and engineering drawings.

• Review & Verification: Review shop drawings and execution plans, verify material quantities, and prepare purchase requests as needed.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To be eligible for this opportunity in Abu Dhabi, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Work Experience: Proven practical experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a similar role as a Civil Site Engineer within building construction and real estate development projects. Experience on projects within the UAE or the Gulf region is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international and local building codes, quality specifications, and HSE regulations. Proficient knowledge of engineering design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Personal Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a diverse workforce. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English. Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Professional Certifications: Possession of recognized professional certifications in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) will be a significant advantage.
