Job Description
The Social Media Specialist will be positioned at the heart of the brand's marketing operations across digital platforms. You will be the primary driver in building and enhancing the digital presence of DESERT PRO FITNESS, connecting the brand with the local community in Qatar and fitness enthusiasts at large.
Key responsibilities are expected to include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive social media content strategy (for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter/X, LinkedIn) aligned with the brand's marketing and business objectives.
- Creating, planning, and scheduling engaging visual content daily (images, short videos, stories, reels) that reflects the health, fitness, and energy culture of the gym.
- Managing daily community engagement by responding to comments and direct messages in a professional manner that fosters customer loyalty and builds a community around the brand.
- Monitoring and analyzing the performance of campaigns and published content using analytics tools (e.g., Insights) to provide regular reports and suggest continuous improvements to increase reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Collaborating with the management and in-house training team to source live content (behind-the-scenes, member success stories, quick workouts) and to highlight services and promote special offers or events.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends, especially in the fitness and wellness niches, and implementing innovative ideas.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following specifications:
- Experience: Proven work experience of at least 2-3 years in managing social media accounts for a brand, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creativity and growth capabilities. Experience in the fitness, sports, or healthy lifestyle sector is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Excellent command of major social media platforms and their scheduling/analytics tools.
- Good skills in basic smartphone photography and videography, with foundational knowledge of editing tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Rush, Photoshop) or alternative apps (Canva, CapCut, InShot).
- Ability to write compelling advertising copy (Copywriting) in both English and Arabic.
- Personal Skills:
- A genuine passion for the world of fitness, health, and wellness.
- High creativity and awareness of the latest digital trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
