Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Store Keeper will hold a pivotal role in ensuring warehouse operational efficiency. The primary responsibilities will include:

• Inventory Management: Accurately receiving, unloading, inspecting, and storing incoming goods. Recording all transactions in the designated inventory management system to ensure record accuracy.
• Storage & Organization: Arranging goods in their designated locations within the warehouse in a safe and organized manner that facilitates easy retrieval. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Order Fulfillment: Receiving pick lists and accurately preparing requested goods for shipping or delivery in a timely manner. Verifying quantities and specifications before packaging.
• Periodic Stocktaking: Participating in regular (monthly/annual) stocktaking processes to reconcile physical stock with electronic records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Warehouse Safety: Strict adherence to all established warehouse safety procedures. Immediate reporting of any hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Team Coordination: Working closely with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to meet business requirements and facilitate the smooth flow of materials.

Qualifications & Core Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of previous practical experience in a similar role as a Store Keeper or Logistics Assistant. Experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational ability and accuracy with a strong attention to detail.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry goods (within reasonable limits) and to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel) and the ability to quickly learn computerized inventory management systems.
• Personal Skills: High reliability, integrity, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills.
• Administrative Requirements: The applicant must hold a valid residency permit in Kuwait that allows for work (transferable sponsorship or transferable residency).
