Job Description
TUV Rheinland Middle East LLC, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of TAB Technician (Testing, Adjusting, Balancing) in both Riyadh and Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
The TAB Technician will work within a specialized team responsible for testing, adjusting, and balancing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Key responsibilities include measuring air and water flow, adjusting dampers and valves, and ensuring systems operate according to design specifications and international standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in HVAC Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB).
- Technical diploma or degree in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as anemometers, differential pressure gauges, and airflow measurement instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and HVAC schematics.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct performance tests on HVAC systems.
- Measure and balance airflow in ducts and diffusers.
- Measure and balance water flow in pipes and heat exchangers.
- Adjust dampers and valves to achieve required flow rates.
- Prepare detailed technical reports on testing and balancing results.
- Collaborate with project teams and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as ASHRAE and SMACNA.
- Maintain and calibrate measurement tools regularly.
