The Technical Director holds a critical senior leadership position within JASARA's project delivery structure. Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Technical Leadership: Provide strategic technical leadership, direction, and mentorship to multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams across multiple projects.
• Quality & Standards Assurance: Develop, implement, and enforce robust quality control systems and technical protocols to ensure all deliverables comply with approved specifications, as well as local and international regulations.
• Design Review & Supervision: Lead the review and approval process for engineering designs, drawings, and technical solutions submitted by contractors and consultants.
• Technical Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential technical risks during the design, procurement, and construction phases.
• Coordination & Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact between company management, clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Innovation & Development: Research, evaluate, and promote the adoption of modern technologies and methodologies (e.g., advanced construction techniques, AI in project management) to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
• Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive technical reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior executive management.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or a closely related field) from an accredited university. A Master’s degree or relevant advanced professional certifications will be a significant advantage.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in construction or infrastructure project management, with at least 7 years in a senior technical leadership role (e.g., Senior Project Manager, Engineering Manager, or Technical Director) on mega-projects.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of full project lifecycle management (design to handover), Saudi Arabian building codes and regulations, and international quality standards.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage large, multidisciplinary teams in a high-stakes, fast-paced project environment.
