Job Description and Responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations within the logistics facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to the highest quality standards. The core responsibilities of this position include:

• Operational Supervision: Direct supervision of the warehouse workforce, including material handlers, operators, and inventory clerks. Planning and organizing work schedules to ensure all shifts are covered and productivity targets are met.
• Inventory Management: Accurately monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the precision of storage records (manually or via Warehouse Management Systems - WMS). Overseeing receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure error-free processes.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all operations and staff comply with stringent safety protocols and local regulations. Implementing and conducting regular safety inspections and promoting a safety-first culture among the team.
• Quality Control: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse facility. Inspecting incoming and outgoing goods to verify specifications and ensure they are free from damage.
• Reporting and Communication: Preparing periodic reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, productivity rates, and any incidents. Effective communication with company management, purchasing and sales departments, and transportation partners.
• Process Improvement: Proposing and implementing improvements to operations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste of time and resources.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment. Experience in Kuwait or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market will be a strong added advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory control practices, and safety procedures. Practical knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office software (especially Excel).
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, manage performance, and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and proactive skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Educational Qualification: A diploma or university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
