Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The System Engineer will play a pivotal role within the IT team, serving as the primary expert responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining Ivanti Endpoint Manager (EPM) solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Design & Implementation: Lead or contribute to the design and implementation of Ivanti EPM architectures and solutions to meet business and security requirements for clients or the internal organization.
• Administration & Maintenance: Perform day-to-day administration of the Ivanti EPM infrastructure, including servers, databases, and agents, to ensure optimal performance and system stability.
• Application & Patch Deployment: Utilize the system to automate the deployment of applications, security patches, and OS updates across a large fleet of endpoints (desktops and servers).
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to software deployment, integration, and Ivanti EPM system performance.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure the Ivanti EPM solution is configured according to security best practices and relevant company or client compliance policies.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for architecture, operational procedures, and change logs.
• Training & Support: Provide Level 2/3 technical support and guidance to other teams or end-users as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in administering and implementing Ivanti Endpoint Manager (EPM) solutions or similar platforms like Microsoft SCCM.
• In-depth understanding of Windows operating systems (desktop and server), including deployment, management, and security.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and fundamental cybersecurity concepts.
• Experience working with databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) to support the Ivanti EPM environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
