Job Description

The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity solutions using the Prisma platform by Palo Alto Networks. He/She will work within an integrated technical team to ensure the highest protection standards for networks and data. Key responsibilities include:

• Design & Implementation: Leading and executing projects to integrate Prisma solutions (such as Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN) within the company's existing operational environment.
• Management & Monitoring: Daily administration of the comprehensive Prisma platform, monitoring the performance and status of security policies, and detecting any threats or anomalous activities.
• Incident Response: Acting as part of the security incident response team, investigating potential breaches, and taking immediate corrective actions using Prisma's analytical tools.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluating the effectiveness of current security policies and proposing continuous enhancements to strengthen the company's overall security posture.
• Support & Training: Providing technical support to the IT team and users regarding network security issues, and contributing to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements & Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this specialized technical role, you must meet the following criteria:

Technical Qualifications:

• Proven practical experience of at least 3-5 years in the field of network security.
• Deep hands-on experience in managing and operating the Prisma platform by Palo Alto Networks, with a strong understanding of its components like Prisma Access and Prisma SD-WAN.
• Comprehensive knowledge of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing & Switching).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
• Experience with public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a significant plus.
• Possession of recognized professional certifications such as PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) or similar (CISSP, CCNP Security) will be highly preferred.
