Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The Sales Executive will be integrated into the hotel's sales department, with primary responsibility for driving revenue targets by developing and maintaining a strong client portfolio. The core duties of this role include:
- Developing and executing effective sales strategies to increase the hotel's market share in the local Jeddah and regional market.
- Prospecting for new sales opportunities and acquiring new clients from various segments such as corporate accounts, travel agencies, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) organizers.
- Managing a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and working to develop repeat business.
- Preparing professional quotations and contracts that meet client needs and align with hotel policies.
- Conducting field visits and meetings with potential and existing clients to foster strong relationships.
- Participating in relevant trade shows and industry events to promote the hotel's brand and services.
- Collaborating closely with other hotel departments, including Revenue, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Preparing regular sales performance reports, conducting market analysis, and providing recommendations to management.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be a successful candidate for this ACCOR position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism & Hospitality, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven work experience of at least 2-3 years in hospitality sales or service-oriented sales. Candidates with experience in 4 or 5-star hotel environments will be given preference.
- Personal Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong relationship-building abilities and a team-player attitude.
- A proactive, results-driven, and self-motivated personality.
- High organizational skills and effective time management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Flexibility to work and willingness to travel for client meetings as required.
- Knowledge: A good understanding of the hospitality and hotel market in Jeddah and Saudi Arabia is a strong advantage.
