Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role within the design and engineering team, responsible for creating and developing accurate, intelligent models for construction projects utilizing precast concrete technology. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating detailed and precise 3D models of precast concrete elements using Tekla Structures software.
• Developing clear and comprehensive fabrication drawings and workshop data (outputs) based on the models to ensure accurate production on the shop floor.
• Coordinating and collaborating closely with design engineers (civil and architectural) and site engineers to ensure model alignment with drawings and technical specifications.
• Performing model checking and review processes to detect clashes and any engineering errors prior to execution phases.
• Continuously updating models and drawings to reflect any design modifications throughout various project stages.
• Ensuring compliance with the company's and the UAE's established quality and safety standards.
• Contributing to the improvement of modeling workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), or a related field.
• Work Experience: Proven practical experience of 3 to 5 years in structural modeling using Tekla Structures, with a strong focus on precast concrete projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures software, with deep knowledge of its precast concrete functionalities.
  • Good working knowledge of other CAD software such as AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and the ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
  • Ability to produce accurate detailed drawings (e.g., reinforcement and connection details).
