Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The Associate Manager - Group Tax will be an integral part of the Group Finance team, contributing to the management and execution of the company's tax strategy across the entire group. The core responsibilities for this role include:
- Operational Tax Management: Overseeing the day-to-day tax compliance for the company across all its entities in various jurisdictions, ensuring all filing and payment deadlines are met accurately and on time.
- Tax Planning and Advisory: Providing advisory support to operational teams and various departments within the group regarding the tax implications of ongoing operations, new projects, and business transactions.
- Reporting and Compliance: Assisting in the preparation of deferred tax calculations in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and supporting the tax disclosure process for the consolidated financial statements.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced professional qualification (such as CPA, Chartered Accountant, or a tax certification) is a significant advantage and highly desirable.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 5 to 8 years of proven experience in taxation, with a demonstrated focus on corporate taxes. Previous experience within a major industrial corporation or the tax function of a multinational group is a strong plus.
