This role is a critical operational linchpin, ensuring the seamless partnership between Talabat and its vast network of restaurants, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and platform efficiency.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Associate Vendor Operations will act as the primary liaison for a portfolio of partner restaurants, focusing on performance optimization and relationship management. Key duties include:

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for a designated set of partner restaurants, providing ongoing operational and technical support, and ensuring their full understanding of Talabat's platform tools and policies.
  • Operational Performance Improvement: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for partner restaurants, such as preparation time, order accuracy, and cancellation rates. Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with restaurants to implement action plans that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Onboarding & Training: Train new restaurant partners on using the Talabat system (Vendor Portal, applications) to ensure a successful launch. Conduct ongoing refreshment sessions for existing vendors on new features and updates.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address operational inquiries and complaints from partner restaurants. Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Customer Care, Technical Support) to resolve any blockers and ensure smooth operations.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize internal analytics tools to track the performance of your assigned segment. Prepare regular reports on achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations for management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure partner restaurants adhere to agreed-upon quality and safety standards, which directly impact the end-customer experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience (typically 1-3 years) in logistics operations, account management, vendor support, or within the F&B/restaurant sector. Experience in on-demand delivery platforms is a significant advantage.
  • Essential Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic.
    • Strong analytical ability to interpret data and make evidence-based decisions.
    • Negotiation and persuasion skills to build collaborative partnerships.
    • Customer-centric and proactive problem-solving attitude.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and collaborative work tools.
