Job Description

The successful technicians will be placed to work at a workshop or service center belonging to 2COMs' client in Qatar. Key responsibilities will include:

• For Auto Electricians:

  • Diagnosing complex electrical and electronic faults in vehicles.
  • Repairing and replacing electrical systems such as charging, starting, lighting, and wiring systems.
  • Maintaining and installing auxiliary electronic systems (navigation, infotainment, etc.).
  • Reading and interpreting automotive electrical circuit diagrams.
  • Using specialized diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD-II scanners) accurately.
  • Ensuring all repairs are completed according to specified safety and quality standards.

• For AC Mechanics:

  • Diagnosing malfunctions in vehicle air conditioning systems.
  • Performing refrigerant (gas) recharge operations following environmental protocols.
  • Repairing or replacing AC system components like compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
  • Detecting and repairing leaks in the cooling circuit.
  • Maintaining the vehicle's heating system.
  • Strict adherence to safe handling procedures for refrigerants.

All technicians will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, interact with customers professionally, and complete tasks within the designated timeframe.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• A diploma or certificate in Automotive Mechanics, Auto Electricity, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in your specialty (auto electrics or AC) in a recognized workshop or service center.
• Deep practical knowledge of various vehicle types (experience with Japanese and European cars is preferred).
• Proficiency in using electrical/electronic diagnostic tools and refrigerant charging machines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
