Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) is seeking a highly qualified professional to join its Egypt branch as a Business Continuity Management Supervisor. This role is critical to ensuring the bank’s resilience and ability to maintain operations during disruptions, in line with international best practices.

Job Description

The supervisor will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the business continuity management framework within the bank. This ensures the organization can effectively respond to potential disruptions and recover critical operations with minimal downtime. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments.
  • Developing and testing Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs).
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure compliance with continuity policies.
  • Preparing periodic reports for senior management on readiness status.
  • Organizing regular training and drills for employees.
  • Staying updated on the latest standards and developments in business continuity (e.g., ISO 22301).

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business continuity or risk management, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), MBCP, or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer are highly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
    • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
