Job Description

Aero Freight Co Ltd, a leading freight forwarding and logistics company in Qatar, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager for its Transport Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving commercial growth, expanding the client base, and enhancing the company's market share in the Qatari and regional transport and logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify, target, and build strong relationships with potential clients and strategic partners in the transport sector.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with clients and vendors.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and trade shows locally and internationally.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the transport and logistics industry, preferably in the Gulf region.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
    • Strong understanding of the transport and logistics market in Qatar and the region.
    • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • Valid driving license.
