Job Description

The Butler will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of personalized service and attention to detail to the hotel's guests, particularly those residing in luxury suites. This role is dedicated to exceeding guest expectations and ensuring a memorable stay characterized by ultimate comfort and luxury.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Providing a personal welcome to guests upon arrival and facilitating a seamless check-in process.
• Delivering high-standard, personalized in-room dining (Room Service) tailored to each guest's preferences.
• Overseeing the condition of suites and coordinating cleaning and preparation with housekeeping and accommodations departments.
• Efficiently and promptly fulfilling special and immediate guest requests with a constant professional demeanor.
• Arranging and coordinating additional guest services such as restaurant reservations, transportation, and tour scheduling.
• Serving beverages and light meals within rooms or in designated lounges.
• Handling guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism to resolve issues immediately.
• Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all hotel facilities and services to provide accurate information.
• Working closely with other hotel departments (restaurants, security, maintenance) to ensure an integrated guest experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

AccorHotel's management in Makkah is seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven previous experience as a Butler or in a similar role within luxury hospitality (5-star hotels, hotel suites, palaces, or high-end service environments).
• Full proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written. Knowledge of the Arabic language is a strong advantage.
• A pleasant, confident personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and during peak times while maintaining composure and professional conduct.
• Flexibility to work day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A neat and elegant appearance that reflects the hotel's luxury image.

Preferred Qualifications (will be an added advantage):

• A recognized certificate or training in hospitality or hotel management.
• Experience working in Makkah Al Mukarramah or other cities with intense religious and tourist traffic.
• Knowledge of Islamic cultures and customs to best serve the guests of the Holy Haram.
