Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Chief Financial Officer will hold a central position in leading and directing all financial and strategic aspects of the company within the Kingdom. You will be directly responsible for the financial health and stability of the operations, ensuring sustainable growth. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the comprehensive financial strategy for the company in the Saudi market, aligning with the global group's objectives and the Kingdom's vision.
• Financial Management & Analysis: Oversee all accounting and finance functions, ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, and conduct financial performance analysis to provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Financial Planning & Budgeting: Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) process, prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor variances.
• Treasury & Funding Management: Ensure optimal financial liquidity, manage banking relationships, and explore appropriate funding options to support growth and expansion plans.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Establish and implement robust financial risk management frameworks and ensure full compliance with local and international laws and regulations, including Zakat and tax standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the local finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and transparency.
• Business Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to the General Management and operational teams, providing financial counsel to support business decision-making and major project evaluations.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or a professional accounting certification (e.g., CMA, CPA, ACCA) is a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role (such as CFO or VP of Finance) within an international corporate environment. Experience in the engineering, technical services, or major projects sector is a strong plus.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Saudi Arabian tax and Zakat regulations, treasury management, and advanced financial analysis.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, including with global headquarters.
• Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic will be a strong additional asset.
• Personal Attributes: High integrity, strong strategic acumen, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced and complex environment.
