A prominent and leading company within the energy and infrastructure sector in Saudi Arabia is expanding its dynamic team in Jeddah. We are actively seeking a qualified and ambitious Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical projects that drive national infrastructure development and sustainable energy initiatives.
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The appointed Mechanical Engineer will be an integral part of the project engineering team, with core responsibilities including:
- Participating in the mechanical and engineering design for ongoing projects within the energy and infrastructure domains.
- Preparing and developing technical drawings and schematics using the latest Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Contributing to the preparation of mechanical equipment specifications, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and vendor evaluations.
- Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems on-site.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable local and international engineering standards, regulations, and stringent safety and quality protocols.
- Conducting performance analyses and troubleshooting technical issues that may arise during various project phases.
- Collaborating closely with other engineering disciplines (electrical, control, civil) to ensure seamless integration of all systems.
- Preparing technical reports and documenting work progress and updates.
Qualifications & Core Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant practical experience, preferably within the energy (traditional or renewable) sector or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong working knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and stress-strain analysis principles.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with project management systems and execution methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- A firm commitment to occupational health and safety standards on work sites.
