Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The appointed Civil Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the design, planning, and execution of integrated urban development projects. Key responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the detailed design and structural analysis of components for major urban projects.
• Preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Coordinating with multi-disciplinary design teams (architectural, MEP) to ensure integration and quality.
• Overseeing (or technically reviewing) site execution phases to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Conducting technical studies and reports related to infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and drainage/sewage systems.
• Utilizing the latest engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or equivalents) to complete tasks.
• Ensuring adherence to local and international building codes and regulatory standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Managing the technical aspects of the project within the defined schedule and budget.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. A Master's degree in a related field will be a distinct advantage.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in civil engineering, with a proven focus on urban development or infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience working on major projects in the Gulf region, especially in Saudi Arabia, is a significant competitive advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian building codes and regulations (e.g., Saudi Building Code SBC).
• Excellent proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-national, multi-cultural team environment.
• Ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work setting.
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
