Job Description

The successfully appointed Architect in this contract role will work remotely, responsible for contributing to various stages of architectural projects. Given the contractual and flexible nature of the role, it suits individuals with strong communication skills, time management abilities, and the capacity to work independently within a virtual team framework.

Key expected responsibilities include:

• Assisting in developing design concepts and preliminary drawings for projects.
• Preparing detailed architectural plans and construction documents using modern software.
• Collaborating effectively with the design team (remotely) to ensure output quality and accuracy.
• Contributing to the development of client presentations and visual materials.
• Adhering to agreed-upon quality standards and project deadlines as per the contract.

Requirements and Qualifications

Aslan Kashkooli Architecture is looking for highly qualified candidates with relevant practical experience.

Essential Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Proven practical experience in the field of architecture.
• Excellent proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and 3D modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. Knowledge of software like Rhinoceros 3D or 3ds Max may be an advantage.
• A strong understanding of architectural principles, building materials, and construction methods.
• The ability to work effectively and independently in a remote work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English is essential, Arabic knowledge is an advantage).
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on projects in the Gulf region or the Middle East.
• Knowledge of local building systems and regulations in Dubai or the UAE.
• Experience working with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
