Abdulwahed Bin Shabib Investment Group LLC is announcing an exceptional job opportunity for the position of Country Manager in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector in the Sultanate of Oman. This position is available in multiple locations including Sohar, Sur, and Seeb.
As a Country Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing the company's business operations in the Omani market, with a focus on achieving growth and expansion goals in the competitive FMCG sector. You will work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies, ensuring operational excellence and increasing market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales and profit targets in the Omani market.
- Manage and guide the local team to achieve the highest levels of performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key clients, and business partners.
- Monitor market trends and analyze competitors to identify new growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal company policies.
- Prepare periodic reports for senior management on market performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Oversee supply chain and distribution operations to ensure timely product availability.
- Manage the operational budget and ensure optimal resource utilization.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales management or operations in the FMCG sector, with previous experience in a managerial position.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Deep understanding of the consumer goods market in Oman and the Gulf region.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and achieve results.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make strategic decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve goals in a competitive environment.
- Good knowledge of business management systems and Microsoft Office programs.
