Job Overview

The Electrical Engineer will be assigned to the team working on power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. The core mission is to contribute to the design, supervision, implementation, and quality assurance of major electrical projects undertaken by the company, while adhering to the highest local and international standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Participate in the design phases and technical studies for electric power system projects.
• Provide on-site field supervision for installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Review engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and engineers from other disciplines to ensure work progresses according to the defined schedule.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical safety and environmental regulations and standards in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during implementation phases.
• Conduct inspections and tests on electrical equipment and systems.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
• Proven practical experience (preferably at least 3 years) in electrical power project engineering (generation, transmission, distribution).
• In-depth knowledge of high and medium voltage systems, substation equipment, and protection & control systems.
• Proficiency in using relevant design and engineering drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical diagrams and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a multicultural, multinational team.
• Flexibility to work at various project sites across Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in English as a working language. Knowledge of Arabic will be a strong advantage.
