Electrical Supervisor Position at Gulf Energy Savings and Service Co LLC

Gulf Energy Savings and Service Co LLC is currently recruiting for the position of Electrical Supervisor to be based in the Al Batinah region of the Sultanate of Oman. Job Overview

The Electrical Supervisor will be stationed at the company's project sites in Al Batinah. The core responsibilities will focus on the field supervision of electrical works, ensuring execution according to the highest standards of quality and safety, and adherence to technical specifications and project schedules. This role is critical for ensuring the efficiency and safety of electrical systems across the company's diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Directly supervise work crews and technicians on-site for the execution of electrical installations and works.
• Plan daily activities, assign tasks to team members, and monitor work progress.
• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable local and international Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures.
• Monitor the quality of electrical materials and equipment used, ensuring they meet project specifications.
• Coordinate work with subcontractors, engineers, and supervisors from other disciplines.
• Prepare daily reports on work progress, achievements, challenges, and material requirements.
• Inspect and test electrical installations to verify their safety and operational efficiency before handover.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during execution phases.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their skills and competencies.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of practical experience in electrical installations and supervision, preferably within major energy, industrial, or construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of international (e.g., IEC) and local Omani electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and engineering plans.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team in a field environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using computers and relevant office software.
