Job Overview

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise all daily activities within the warehouse including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the accuracy of inventory records using established systems (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems - WMS).
• Develop and implement effective work procedures to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols throughout the warehouse facility.
• Coordinate with other departments such as Procurement, Projects, and Logistics to meet project requirements in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in audit processes.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and arrange for repairs as needed.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and activities for senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse principles, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) software.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., OSHA or local equivalents) is a distinct advantage.
• The physical ability to lift light to medium loads and stand for extended periods as required by the job.
