Polyglot Technologies LLC is currently seeking an experienced SharePoint Consultant to join their team at their headquarters in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Job Overview

The successful consultant will be integrated into a dynamic team, serving as the primary expert for providing advisory and technical expertise related to the Microsoft SharePoint platform. Given the contractual nature of the role, it requires an individual capable of rapid onboarding, effectively understanding client or internal project requirements, and delivering practical solutions within a tight timeframe.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Analyze business needs or functional requirements for the specific project.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions based on the SharePoint platform to meet those requirements.
• Provide consultancy on best practices for using SharePoint to enhance collaboration, content management, and workflows.
• Configure and manage SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting related to the platform.
• Work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their goals and provide technical guidance.
• Document procedures, architectures, and required reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven hands-on experience (typically 3-5 years) in a similar role as a SharePoint Consultant, Developer, or Administrator.
• In-depth understanding of Microsoft SharePoint architecture and configuration (modern versions like SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 are preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Solid knowledge of content management, collaboration, and automated workflow concepts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing time effectively to deliver goals within the set schedule.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical parties.
• Professional certifications related to Microsoft SharePoint (e.g., MCSA: SharePoint) will be a strong added advantage.
