Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed Electrical Supervisor will be entrusted with a range of vital responsibilities requiring high technical skills and leadership capabilities.   • On-Site Supervision: Directly lead and supervise a team of technicians and electricians at the project site.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an advanced technical diploma in the electrical field. In some cases, extensive practical experience may substitute for formal academic qualifications.
  • Practical Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in electrical works, with a significant portion in a supervisory or leadership role within construction or industrial projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical systems, distribution boards, lighting systems, cabling, and electrical building regulations in the UAE (knowledge of DEWA regulations is a significant advantage).
  • Personal Skills:
    • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Ability to read and understand engineering schematics and drawings.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
  • Other Requirements: The applicant must possess a valid UAE residence visa and be eligible for transfer of sponsorship. A valid driver's license is preferred.
