Job Description
YAS PARTNER L.L.C-FZ, a leading consulting and engineering services company in Dubai, is seeking an Energy Engineer to join its growing team. The engineer will develop and implement innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency across various projects, aligning with the UAE's vision for sustainability and clean energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audit studies and analyze energy consumption in buildings and industrial facilities.
- Design and develop strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Supervise the installation of renewable energy systems (e.g., solar power) and evaluate their performance.
- Prepare detailed technical reports on energy performance and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with architectural and civil engineering teams to integrate sustainable energy solutions into designs.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and international standards in energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Provide technical support to clients and partners on energy projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Energy Engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in energy efficiency or renewable energy.
- Strong knowledge of international energy efficiency standards (e.g., ASHRAE, LEED, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in thermal and energy simulation software (e.g., EnergyPlus, HAP, or RETScreen).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
- Professional certifications in energy (e.g., CEM or CEA) are a strong advantage.
