NEW Alfa International is currently seeking a qualified Project Control & Planning Engineer to join their team in Oman. This position is ideal for experienced engineers with a strong background in project management and engineering planning.

Job Description

As a Project Control & Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, monitoring progress against baselines, and preparing periodic performance reports. You will work within a specialized team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using specialized planning software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project).
• Monitor actual project progress and compare it with planned schedules.
• Prepare periodic project status reports including variance and risk analysis.
• Coordinate with different project teams to ensure alignment of activities.
• Contribute to developing contingency plans and change management.
• Analyze project data and provide recommendations for performance improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or any related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project control and planning.
• Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, PMP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
