Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The appointed Erection Engineer will be deployed to work directly with Rokadiya's client, expected to be a major player in Kuwait's industrial, construction, or energy sector. The core responsibilities associated with this role include:
- Providing on-site supervision and management for the erection and lifting of heavy industrial equipment and structural assemblies.
- Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings (structural, mechanical, piping) to ensure all installation activities comply with technical specifications and design requirements.
- Planning and scheduling erection sequences efficiently, ensuring adherence to project timelines and allocated budgets.
- Coordinating and liaising with contractor teams, vendors, and engineers from other disciplines on-site.
- Monitoring and enforcing strict compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and protocols throughout all project phases.
- Preparing daily and periodic technical progress reports on installation activities.
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving any technical issues or obstacles encountered during execution.
- Ensuring the quality of all materials and equipment used for erection meets the required specifications.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a directly related engineering field.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in a similar role as an Erection Engineer or Site Engineer within major industrial or construction projects.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of erection methodologies and procedures. Strong knowledge of lifting plans, heavy equipment, and rigging practices. Proficiency in engineering design software like AutoCAD is a distinct advantage.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience supervising work teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and solve problems in a challenging field environment.
- Certifications: Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly valued and will be a significant plus.
- Language: Proficiency in English for technical communication is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.
