Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using advanced planning software (e.g., Primavera P6 and MS Project).
- Monitor project progress and analyze performance against approved baselines.
- Prepare periodic progress reports and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with various project teams to ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Provide recommendations for schedule optimization and risk mitigation.
- Participate in planning and coordination meetings with clients and contractors.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in engineering planning, with prior experience in major construction projects (preferably in the UAE or GCC).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (certification is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Teamwork and leadership skills.
