Key Responsibilities
As an Estimation Engineer at Al Abdulghani Motors, your primary duties will include:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for vehicle repairs and maintenance based on technical inspection reports.
- Analyzing the requirements for spare parts and labor hours needed for each repair job.
- Communicating with insurance companies and customers to explain cost breakdowns and estimates.
- Utilizing Workshop Management Systems (WMS) and specialized estimating software.
- Ensuring all estimates comply with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards and company policies.
- Following up on estimate approvals from customers and insurance providers.
- Collaborating with the technical team (mechanics and technicians) to verify estimate accuracy.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer data and estimates in the system.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in automotive repair estimation, preferably within an authorized dealership.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in electronic estimating platforms (e.g., Audatex, CCC, or Mitchell).
- Excellent knowledge of various vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, bodywork).
- Deep understanding of insurance policies and claims procedures.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (verbal and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
