Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Export Sales Manager will be the primary leader responsible for driving and executing the company's strategy for exporting to global markets. The focus will be on identifying new opportunities, building robust business relationships, and driving revenue growth through export channels. The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and Implementing Export Strategy: Creating detailed action plans for penetrating new markets and maintaining a strong presence in existing ones, with a focus on achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Managing the Full Sales Cycle: From prospecting and lead generation, to making presentations and negotiating contracts, through to closing deals and managing post-sale customer relationships.
- Building and Growing an International Network: Establishing and developing strategic relationships with distributors, importers, and direct clients across various targeted geographical regions.
- Conducting Market Research: Analyzing global market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities within the wire and cable industry to inform strategic decisions.
- Internal Coordination: Working closely with internal production, logistics, quality control, and finance teams to ensure international customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Reporting and Analytics: Preparing regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and market forecasts for senior management.
- Company Representation: Representing Universal Wires LLC at international trade fairs and specialized conferences to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be a successful candidate for this leadership opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA or a professional certification in International Sales will be a strong advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in export sales or international sales, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Experience in the industrial sector, specifically in wire, cable, or metal products, is a significant and highly desired advantage.
- Personal & Professional Skills:
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English (essential).
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
- In-depth understanding of international trade procedures, Incoterms, and international finance.
