Job Overview

The Facilities Manager holds a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe daily operation of the company's buildings and facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to the maintenance and operation of the company's physical infrastructure, directly contributing to an optimal and productive environment for both employees and clients. Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Facilities Manager at Bawan Al Memar Co. will be entrusted with a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance plans for buildings, facilities, and systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, security, safety).

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Academic Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of practical experience in facilities management, with some portion in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Previous experience working in the contracting, industrial, or large-scale residential/commercial complex management sector will be a distinct advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and safety systems.

Personal and Professional Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills and excellent ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in Arabic and English.
  • Ability to strategize, plan, and make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in office computer software and facilities management software.
  • In-depth understanding of building codes and safety regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
