Job Overview
The Facility Coordinator - Engineering plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe day-to-day operation of facilities and buildings. This position acts as a crucial link between field operations and management, with a focus on coordination, follow-up, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of operational and coordination tasks, including but not limited to:
- Coordination & Supervision: Coordinating routine and emergency maintenance activities for facilities with technical teams and external contractors.
- Follow-up & Documentation: Tracking the progress of maintenance and repair works, and documenting reports and work records.
- Request Management: Receiving maintenance requests from various departments, processing them, directing them to the concerned party, and following up until closure.
- Inventory Monitoring: Assisting in monitoring stock levels of spare parts and consumables required for maintenance.
- Compliance & Safety: Assisting in ensuring all maintenance operations comply with applicable local safety and quality standards.
- Administrative Support: Providing necessary administrative support to the facility management team, including organizing files and scheduling meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements
The asset management group is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering) or any field related to facility management.
- Experience: This role is suitable for fresh graduates or individuals with limited experience (1 to 3 years) in facility management, maintenance, or a supporting engineering field. Prior experience in a similar environment is a distinct advantage.
- Personal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
