Hill International (Middle East) Ltd. is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Geotechnical Specialist Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and soil/rock analysis for various projects
- Design foundations, retaining walls, and earth structures
- Supervise excavation works and field testing operations
- Prepare technical reports and engineering recommendations
- Coordinate with design and construction teams to ensure specification compliance
- Participate in geotechnical risk assessment and develop innovative solutions
- Oversee ground improvement and soil treatment works
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
- Experience with major projects in the Gulf region
- Proficiency in specialized engineering software such as PLAXIS and GeoStudio
- Knowledge of international standards (Eurocode, ACI, ASTM)
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
