Job Description

As a Grill Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide variety of grilled dishes, including meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets the highest standards of quality and flavor.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and marinate meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables for grilling
• Operate and maintain grilling equipment (charcoal, gas, electric grills)
• Ensure dishes are cooked to the required degree of doneness with the highest quality standards
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in the work area
• Manage inventory of ingredients and raw materials
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow
• Provide suggestions for menu improvement and dish development
• Adhere to specified presentation and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Grill Chef in upscale restaurants or hotels
• Excellent knowledge of various grilling techniques (charcoal, gas, electric)
• Deep understanding of hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP)
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and teamwork ability
• Culinary degree or relevant certification (preferred)
• Legal residency in Kuwait or ability to obtain it
