Key Responsibilities
As a Well Testing Senior Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operating Well Testing Equipment: Oversee the operation and maintenance of pressure and production testing equipment, including separators, flow meters, and safety systems.
- Conducting Test Operations: Execute well testing plans according to specified technical and engineering standards, ensuring accurate data collection.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition, performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards on site, ensuring safe work practices are followed.
- Team Management: Supervise a team of technicians and junior operators, providing guidance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Reporting: Document test results and prepare daily reports on operational progress and equipment status.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in well testing, with prior experience as a Senior Operator or Supervisor.
- Education: Technical diploma in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Thorough knowledge of well testing equipment (e.g., Slickline, Coiled Tubing, Well Testing Packages) and the ability to read technical drawings.
- Languages: Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
- Certifications: Valid safety certifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, H2S, and First Aid are highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work under pressure, strong teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
