Job Description

The Oman Investment Authority is seeking a highly qualified Specialist in Strategic Partnerships & Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) to join its team in Muscat. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the authority's strategic partnership activities and M&A operations, including identifying promising investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and analyzing potential deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnership and M&A opportunities.
• Conduct financial analysis and valuation of target companies and assets.
• Participate in due diligence processes for potential transactions.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management and the investment committee.
• Monitor deal execution and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners and financial advisors.
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide periodic reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in strategic partnerships, M&A, or investment banking.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and valuation tools.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in analyzing various economic sectors (energy, logistics, technology).
• Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA.
• Experience in Omani or GCC markets.
