Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Accountant, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance team in a variety of daily accounting tasks, including but not limited to:

• Recording daily journal entries in the financial system.
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and supplier/customer account reconciliations.
• Following up on invoices and financial documents to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Assisting in the preparation of periodic financial reports.
• Supporting the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams.
• Participating in monthly and annual closing processes.
• Adhering to International Accounting Standards and company financial policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Nationality: Must be an Emirati national (UAE citizen) - this is a mandatory requirement for the Emiratisation program.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Experience: Limited or no prior work experience (suitable for fresh graduates).
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of financial accounting principles.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work in a team and handle work pressure.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
