Job Description
An excellent career opportunity is available for a junior electrical engineer to join a specialized team working on solar energy projects in Dubai. The engineer will work under the supervision of project managers and senior engineers to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems.
This role is ideal for fresh graduates or engineers with limited experience who are looking to build a career in the thriving renewable energy sector in the United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and planning of photovoltaic (PV) solar energy systems.
- Prepare technical drawings and electrical schematics using engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Support the project team in preparing work schedules and progress reports.
- Participate in field inspections and quality control of installations.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure materials and equipment meet specifications.
- Assist in analyzing technical data and performance calculations for solar systems.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout all project phases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (renewable energy preferred).
- 0 to 2 years of experience in solar energy or electrical projects (internships accepted).
- Good knowledge of solar system design fundamentals (On-grid / Off-grid).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
