Job Description

AL Hanoo Building Contracting LLC, a leading contracting company in Sharjah, is seeking a highly skilled MEP Procurement Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all procurement activities related to MEP systems, including supplier identification, contract negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for MEP systems.
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare purchase orders and negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors.
• Follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with project teams (engineering, execution, finance) to align procurement with project requirements.
• Manage inventory and monitor material levels.
• Prepare periodic reports on procurement performance and costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MEP procurement within the contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement management software and ERP systems.
• Outstanding communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with the supplier market in the United Arab Emirates.
