Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Senior IT Project Manager to join a team in the United Arab Emirates, specializing in digital payments and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and executing complex technical projects aimed at developing electronic payment systems and driving digital transformation within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects related to payment systems and digital transformation from planning through execution and delivery.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with various teams (technical, operational, commercial) to ensure project alignment with strategic organizational goals.
- Manage risks, identify potential issues, and develop appropriate contingency plans.
- Provide regular progress reports and performance updates to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and best practices.
- Oversee the digital transformation process and implement the latest technologies in the payments field.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers related to projects.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in IT project management, with a clear focus on payments and digital transformation projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory. Agile or Scrum Master certifications (e.g., CSM or PSM) are required.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of electronic payment systems (credit cards, digital wallets, instant transfers), IT infrastructure, and information security.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent command of English (spoken and written). Arabic is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
