MEP Procurement Officer Job in Sharjah, UAE

AL Hanoo Building Contracting LLC is seeking a qualified MEP Procurement Officer to join their team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position with immediate joining.

Job Description

As an MEP Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials and equipment for construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying project requirements for MEP materials and coordinating with the procurement department.
• Sourcing reliable suppliers and evaluating price quotations.
• Negotiating the best terms and prices with suppliers.
• Preparing purchase orders and following up on their execution.
• Ensuring purchased materials meet the required technical specifications.
• Monitoring delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of materials.
• Maintaining an updated database of suppliers and prices.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MEP procurement within contracting companies in the UAE or GCC.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, types, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in procurement management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
• Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
