AWS DISTRIBUTION is actively recruiting for an experienced MEP Project Sales Manager specializing in Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems to join their team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position represents a key opportunity for ambitious sales professionals within the engineering and construction sector to contribute to a well-established company in a dynamic market.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Project Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the sales pipeline for air conditioning systems within new construction and major refurbishment projects across Dubai and neighboring emirates. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing an effective sales strategy targeting main contractors, project developers, engineering consultancy firms, and MEP subcontractors.
  • Identifying and pursuing new project opportunities through networking, tender participation, and preparing technical and commercial proposals.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term business relationships with existing and potential clients in the construction industry.
  • Deeply understanding project engineering requirements and proposing suitable solutions from the company's range of air conditioning products and services.
  • Coordinating internally with technical support, logistics, and management teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing the project cycle from the tender stage through to final delivery, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met.
  • Analyzing market performance and providing regular reports on sales activity, competition, and market trends.
  • Representing the company at relevant industry trade shows and conferences.

Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or specialized certification in Sales Management or HVAC systems will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in project sales within the construction (MEP) sector, with a strong focus on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of various air conditioning products, systems, and their applications in commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
  • A demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, building a client portfolio, and securing major project contracts.
  • Solid understanding of tender and contracting procedures within the UAE construction market.
  • An existing professional network with key stakeholders in Dubai's construction sector is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical proposals clearly.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is a beneficial addition.
  • A self-motivated, results-oriented leader with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
