Job Overview

The Occupational Therapist will play a pivotal role within DMC's multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental abilities.
• Establish measurable and personalized treatment goals based on each patient's needs.
• Design and implement therapeutic programs using purposeful activities, exercises, and adaptive techniques.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to manage daily challenges and the use of assistive devices.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university.
• Licensing: Applicants must possess a valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist from the health authorities in the Sultanate of Oman or be eligible to obtain one. Priority will be given to those with existing valid licenses from GCC countries.
• Experience: Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist, particularly in a hospital or rehabilitation center setting, is preferred. Exceptional fresh graduates may be considered for some positions.
