The Operations Executive will be integrated into the core operations team, responsible for coordinating and executing international freight shipments (air, sea, and land) smoothly and efficiently. Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Shipment Coordination: Managing the end-to-end process of shipments from booking to delivery, including coordination with suppliers, carriers, and customs agencies.
• Customer Service: Handling customer inquiries, providing accurate shipment status updates, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
• Documentation & Compliance: Preparing, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy of all required logistics documentation such as Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, and customs clearance procedures.
• Tracking & Reporting: Monitoring shipment routes and promptly reporting any delays or issues. Preparing periodic operational status reports.
• Cost Optimization: Assisting in negotiating rates with carriers and service partners, and seeking ways to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues in sales, finance, and warehouse departments to ensure seamless workflow.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Educational Background and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in a similar role (Operations Executive, Shipping Coordinator, Freight Forwarding Agent) with a logistics or international shipping company.
• Working knowledge of international shipping systems and procedures (Incoterms, documentation, customs processes).
• Experience working with major shipping lines, airlines, and port agents is a significant advantage.

Personal and Professional Skills:

• English Language Proficiency: Essential for handling international documentation and global partners. Knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage.
