Job Overview
The People & Culture Manager will act as a strategic business partner to hotel management, responsible for leading and executing all human resources initiatives that support business objectives and foster a positive, people-centric organizational culture. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic People Leadership: Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned with the hotel's vision, goals, and Accor's global standards.
- Talent Management & Recruitment: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process to fulfill the hotel's staffing needs with competent individuals, from manpower planning to selecting culturally and professionally aligned candidates.
- Learning & Development: Design and implement effective training and development programs to enhance employee skills, support career progression, and ensure the delivery of exceptional hospitality service.
- Performance Management: Oversee the cyclical performance appraisal process, provide coaching to managers, and ensure constructive development and goal-setting dialogues.
- Employee Relations & Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, handle employee relations matters effectively, and serve as a trusted liaison between management and staff.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the salary and benefits structure, ensuring fairness and market competitiveness, and manage payroll processes in coordination with the finance department.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure the hotel's full compliance with all Saudi Labor Law and relevant regulations, maintaining accurate and secure employee records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Work Experience: Proven experience of at least 5 years in Human Resources, with leadership experience in a similar role (HR Manager or HR Head). Experience in the hospitality or hotel sector is a significant advantage and a priority.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are a plus.
- Local Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Saudi Labor Law and Saudization (Nitaqat) regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with superior verbal and written communication abilities in both English and Arabic.
- Personal Attributes: A leader who is firm yet empathetic, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, and exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Results-Driven: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions that support the business.
